This photograph was taken on the Boardwalk in Ocean City over fifty years ago. From left to right...my aunt Joan who is carrying the the umbrella, my Dad, my Mom, my Grandmother Lil( my father's mother) and my aunt Donna who is holding the metal sand buckets.
The toddler in the wooden stroller ...you guessed it...it's me. My Mom and her sister Joan were born ten years apart and Donna was born ten years after Joan.
Donna and I are more like siblings than aunt and niece.
I just love this old photo...I have so many wonderful memories of family gatherings at the beach. Sandy feet welcome when it's all in the family!
