Winter Views

I haven't been out much this week
so I am offering views from the yard...

It's been extremely cold and crazy windy.
Not as much snow as those north of us received but the several inches
we got isn't melting because of the below freezing temps.

Spring can't come too soon.

A Tale of a Tail...

Sitting at the desk, in the office side of the second floor of the Workshop,
is like sitting in a tree house among the large, old oaks.

In one of those trees is this chewed out
hidey hole.

More than once I have seen fights about who gets to use the
comfy cubby to get out of the cold.

Appears this little guy is tucked in for the night.

childhood continue when you "grow up"

It Was Quite The Sky Day...

The morning started out with this amazing sunrise...

 that changed minute by minute.

Then this evening the rising of the Snow Moon.

In the morning and in the evening
Mother Nature certainly put on a show.

Soaring with the Eagles...

As I work in the shop behind our home, sometimes
I don't leave the yard for a number of days.
Sunday morning, my dear husband decided I had been
"home bound" a bit too long.
We went out for breakfast and then
to Conowingo Dam to see if we could
get a glimpse of the eagles.

We weren't disappointed...

I do wish the photos were a bit brighter but it was a cold, gray day.
I want to visit another time when the sun is shining.
