We got a call early afternoon from friends, David and Ann. David and my Hubbie have been friends since they were kids. For over a year, David has been talking sailboats, although Lou always thought David would want a "go fast boat". But he and Ann took sailing lessons, found a sailboat and they've been working on it all summer. They took it out this morning and called to ask us to meet them for lunch at The Wild Duck. (picture above) They came in by boat and we drove in by truck. We sat on the deck and drank iced tea and had sandwiches. Had lots to talk about, laughed alot and had a wonderful lunch together.
G'eve Pat ~ What a wonderful day I know you had ...

Just had to drop by and thank you for visiting my blog. I'm so glad you found something you liked well enough to become a follower.
ReplyDeleteLucy looks like such a sweet girl. I know you love her every bit as much as we love our 4 fur kids.
Dylan is such a cutie and his 1st birthday cake was simply adorable! Our 2 oldest grandsons are blondies like Dylan. The oldest one will turn 18 in just 23 more days.
I'll have to tell my son about your spider sign. He hates spiders so much his wife or kids have to kill them for him. LOL!
You have a wonderful blog and I'll be back soon. Now I'm off to check out your shop.
G'day Pat ~ Yes this is Thurmont Zoo ...but wear tennis shoes as snakes run wild on the ground & they have signs posted they are all around ... YIPES! I'd never have gone in for knowing that ahead of time.
ReplyDeleteOther than worrying about the 'fellas' the kid-lings had a marvelous time. You can buy food & feed the animals, too.
You might like packing a picnic lunch & they even have a little playground for children.
Have a great week.
