Seems lately, here at the Workshop,
there just aren't enough hours in the day.
We decided to do some craft shows this fall,
in addition to our online presence.
Hard to do both, especially as Lou and I
aren't as young as we use to be.
But it is really nice to actually meet our customers
face to face again. I've missed that.
Last weekend we were in Thurmont, Maryland
for the Colorfest. Crazy storm went through the area,
just as we were nearing Thurmont.
We had planned on setting up the display
on Friday night, but decided to wait
until 5 am on Saturday morning.
As our set up time had to be changed we headed into Gettysburg to grab a bite to eat. After the storm, the skies cleared. The evening was lovely...
The women and men of the Fire Company
took such good care of their vendors.
Especially nice was the dinner platter
given to each of the crafters.
Those firefighters know how to
keep folks happy.
