We have had some crazy winter into spring

Makes a gardener a bit crazy.
Covering up the tenders like hydrangeas
so that there may just be
some flowers this summer.

The forsythia, a sure sign of spring,
had the flowers freeze
on one of those freezing temperature nights
as did the bridal veil bush.

Appears though, that spring is finally showing up.

Tadpoles in several of the ponds

Happy for you! Yes, the freeze problem was foremost on lots of people's minds. Lucy looks happy going on her outing. Tadpoles and wildflowers, real sure signs of spring!

ReplyDeleteSpring is here again in PA. It showed up in late February and then went away. The blossoms on the trees are not as many and the forsythia's flowers are curled up. However, it is spring and for that I am very grateful.
