Ghoulies and Ghosties...
I just love this Scottish Saying for Halloween decorating...it's something a little different from the usual. I plan on displaying it outside my door, maybe with a jack'o'lantern and some indian corn. Since my girls are grown, we don't have a graveyard set up in the front yard or dry ice sending out a spooky fog around the front door for the trick or treaters. Every Halloween, as the children got off the bus from school, I'd open the windows, put on Disney's Halloween album with ghostly noises, howling dogs and spooky music. Turned up all the way, they could hear it as they stepped off the bus across the street fom the house. They'd run up the driveway laughing. I miss those times. I still have the spooky album, but no turn table to play it. I guess I'm going to have to find a cd of that album for my darling grandson when he's old enough to enjoy All Hallow's Eve.

3 Sisters...and a Baby
Dylan with his Great Grandmother...with his Great Great Aunt Donna...
with his Great Great Aunt Joanie.
My Mom and her sisters were each born 10 years apart...you can tell by their noses they are siblings...they all have the same profile. All three came to visit Dylan this week and all couldn't wait to get their hands on him.

The Gypsy Witch...
I am trying ever so hard to get myself geared up for fall shows. But with my new grandbaby and the upcoming wedding of my darling daughter, I've not been too successful.
This is one of my new signs for the fall. If you ask my youngest daughter, she would probably tell you it describes me. Whenever she did something she wasn't supposed to do while in her teens, I always knew. This really has nothing to do with fortune telling or esp. It has to do with always knowing her friends and their parents and being in the right place at the right time. But it mostly has to do with knowing your child and being involved in their lives. When told by a friend, "Your Mother will never find out" she replied, "My Mother finds out everything."

For the Over 50 Gals...It never has to end
Just looked at an email Lou's sister sent about their cousin Nancy. She was one of the original Golddiggers on the Dean Martin show, many moons ago. Gives hope to all of us ladies who are no longer 19.
