A simple request....

I asked Lou for a chalkboard for the kitchen and
he came up with this lovely piece which is
a chalkboard with a shelf and five hooks.

It's always been like that.
I ask for something simple like,
"Can we paint this wall?"
and he says, "how about if we knock down
that wall and make two rooms into one?"
I should have known he couldn't just make
a plain chalkboard with a frame.

But it is a perfect piece of furniture
for jotting down notes or reminders
plus a place to hang keys,
a dog's leash or a jacket.

If you need one for your kitchen or entryway,
we've decided to list them on the website.
Available in a painted worn white
or stained wood finish.

Love You! Love You More! Love You Most!

I Love You!
I Love You More! I Love You Most!

Sweet words to be spoken between
parents and children.
Did this with my daughters and
now with the grandlittles.

Also a wonderful sentiment for your Valentine
or to be displayed at a Wedding.

Saying is on a painted worn finish sign
measuring 12x16 inches.
Lettering has been hand painted and distressed
just a bit for a worn, vintage look.

Perfect for the nursery or kids room.

Ready Made Signs to ship in 3-5 days of purchase.

Reisterstown Blooming Arts Festival...

We don't set up our display for many shows anymore
(because we're gettin' old),
but decided to participate in a local show on Saturday.
We've done the Reisterstown Blooming Art Festival,
before but not for several years.

Our booth was below some beautiful pink flowering trees
so we had a carpet of blossoms under us.

Our daughter and the grandchildren live just up the road
from the festival and they came by for a visit.

This is a wonderful community fair...
The Kiwanis Club had a children's play area set up for the kids.
They also had table  for the kids to color an insert for a flower pot,
which they provided, and then the children got to go to
the Glyndon Nursery booth to pick out a plant for the pot for their
Mom for Mother's Day

The Oriole Bird stopped by to say Hello!

Local high school kids had a facing paint booth,
and the grandlittles became a butterfly and a spiderman
.

There was wonderful musical entertainment all day long...

Thanks to the  Reisterstown Recreation Council and  Reisterstown Improvement Association who did so much work
to make this a successful event!
