For the first time in 15 years, Country Workshop didn't set up
at Colorfest in Thurmont, MD.
Some family events and the fact that our online business is growing made us decide not to participate this year. Seems we made the right choice as it rained cats and dogs on Friday, which is set up day, with rain threats for the entire weekend. But the Lou and I did make an afternoon trip to walk through the town together...something we have never been able to do when we have our own booth at the show. Met for dinner at the "Cozy" with some old crafter friends from our "Roadshow" days for a yearly get together.

My goodness, it looks like fall there! Sounds like a good idea, opting out of the sales, with the rain and everything. Waynesboro has a Pumpkinfest - I didn't think about going, even though the weather was decent for a change.
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely day!
It is looking like Fall in your part of the world. I hope you had a wonderful Sunday. You were smart to not act as a vendor this time-xo Diana
