Had the grandkids overnight on Friday and I always try to find something fun to do with Dylan after Mariah J goes down (hopefully) for the night.
I had read on Pinterest, that if you take bubble solution and add the
contents of a glow stick, you would have bubbles that glowed in the
dark...Well folks it didn't work. We ended up turning all the outside
lights on so the grandson could see the bubbles he was blowing. He didn't mind at all but his grandparents were oh so disappointed.
Oh well, that's life. Some things work and some don't. The best thing you've done, in my opinion, was planting the jelly bean seeds in a pot to grow into lollipops. That was wonderful. I've talked about it a lot.
ReplyDeleteOh, what a disappointment for him (and you too). Lovely thought though... pretty spheres glowing in the night sky...
ReplyDeleteVery nice shot of the bubbles. Sorry they didn't glow in the dark though. Hugs
ReplyDeleteGreat job on busting the myth! Sorry for your disappointment.. I'd be happy to see glow in the dark bubbles, too. :)
ReplyDeleteI hadn't heard about that. Too bad it didn't work. I got a bubble stick as a gift :) It's a tube full of bubble stuff and a wand that goes in the tube and makes tons of bubbles..I saw them at Wal Mart...I think for 99 cents.
